David Giauque

David Giauque, is an Assistant Professor specializing in the sociology of organizations, comparative public administration and human resources management in the public sector at the Institute of Political and International Studies of the University of Lausanne. He is a political scientist by training and obtained his PhD in public administration (University of Lausanne and Graduate School of Public Administration - IDHEAP). His thesis was awarded a prize by the Swiss Society of Administrative Sciences in the category "Thesis in French". Prior to this appointment he worked five years at the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland (HES-SO), in the position of full professor. Currently he is a member of the Swiss Public Administration Network (SPAN), a member of the “Laboratoire d’Analyse de la Gouvernance et de l’Action Publique en Europe” (LAGAPE). He is the author and co-author of numerous scientific books and articles. Furthermore, he led and currently leads research projects funded by, for instance, the Swiss National Science Foundation or even the Swiss Network for International Studies (SNIS).
